Unique apartment downtown

A unique apartment in the middle of Copenhagen's cultural quarter
The residence is located in the historic area of Frederiksholm canal, with Christiansborg castle and Thorvaldsens Museum as neighbors, you cannot wish for more cultural and historical surroundings.

There are plenty of nice cafés and restaurants with outdoor seating in the area, and you can enjoy the charm and peace from the canal as well. The metro station “Gammel Strand” is expected to open in July 2019, after which you can walk to this in five minutes.

The property, which is preserved, still appears beautiful and with plenty of soul 287 years after it was constructed. There is a small cozy courtyard with topped cobblestones where you can enjoy a moment of peace and a cold drink on a hot summer evening unless you prefer to sit by the canal, as many people do.

The accommodation is high above street level and it is not possible to look into the apartment.

From the granious, beautiful mansion entrance, you enter into a small hall. From here there is access to a tasteful bathroom with separate shower and window for ventilation. The elements are in American walnut, to create a consistent style in the interior throughout the entire apartment.

The dining room seats 20 guests and looks very inviting with a view of the lovely courtyard. In the recess, which can easily be used for the daily dining area, there is also an amazing showcase in American walnut, which adds to the rooms cozy feeling. The beautiful carpentry in the kitchen is also featured in walnut and there is good cupbaord space, as well as beautiful details like a green marble slab by the stove, custom designed Le klint lamps and French wallpaper. In the laundry room there are tile floors and good shelf space. There is also a combined washer/dryer. The three lounges en-suite, all have six full windows facing the canal. The living rooms feature high floor to ceiling panels as well as beautiful hand-crafted shelving cabinets.

In the bedroom you will wake up to a view of Thorvaldsen Museum as well as the canal. There is also access to a large walkin-closet / office / children's room.

The entire apartment is completely refurbished with handmade radiator-hinged, newly felted painted walls, ceilings and doors.

A home for the discerning tenant who appreciates quality, skilled craftsmanship and a property with soul and history.
